HOW TO GET AROUND TURKEY
FLIGHTS
International flights and domestic flights are available at reasonable prices. Remember that Turkey is a big country with long distances. There are numerous airports and the network continues to grow.
Prices are subject to availability which means that prices rise as tickets sell out. The earlier you book, the lower the price.
TRANSFERS
Upon arrival, we can pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel of your choice. You’ll be met with a sign in your name. Our vehicles are recent and well maintained and our drivers are courteous and punctual.
CAR RENTAL
A rental car will allow you to move at your own rhythm with complete freedom. Together with Nissa Car Rental, we propose recent vehicles at competitive rates. You can take or leave your car at the airport or at your hotel in almost all cities of Turkey. Both manual stick and automatic transmission are available.
Conditions:
- The daily rate includes all insurance (detailed conditions will be given at the time of booking), unlimited mileage and NO DEDUCTIBLE.
- A drop charge will apply when the vehicle is left in a city other than the city of origin.
BUSES
Buses are fast, comfortable and cheap and there’s a large network all over Turkey. In addition, they're always on time! Be aware that long distance journeys are often at night.
TRAINS
Train travel is not the best way to get around Turkey. The trains are slow but cheap. Only if you have time and you like trains! There are simple 4 berth compartments as well as comfortable sleeping carsfor one or two people.
HERE’S AN EXAMPLE:
If you were to travel from Istanbul to Cappadocia (750 km) , it would take:
- 1:10 hours by air
- 11 hours by night bus
- 22 hours by train
