B&B’s in Turkey are without a doubt the friendliest and most genuine type of accommodation there is. They are generally renovated traditional family homes which include a dozen rooms, a communal lounge and sometimes a garden.
It is not uncommon to come across several generations who share the tasks. The food is local, simple and family made. It’s a good way of meeting families al whilst while having a certain amount of comfort at reasonable prices.
Prices generally range from 35 € to 60 € for a double room with breakfast. Half board formulas are also available and are usually cheap.
Apart from Istanbul, you will find all pensions in all touristic zones in the towns and villages. In larger cities, the hotels tend to be moreof the classical type.
