At 2000m of altitude, the Nemrut Dag dominates the surroundings valleys and offers a breathtaking panorma. At the tope of the hill, monumental statues of gods and kings guard the tumulus of king Antiochus the 1st of Commagene from the 1st century B.C. An unforgettable part of your trip.
Departures on Mondays or Thursdays from Cappadocia
Day 1 ( Cappadocia - Nemrut )
Pick up from your hotel and departure in the morning from Cappadocia. After passing Kayseri, we’ll visit the 13th century Seljuk Caravansarai "Karatayhan". The next stop will be in Pinarbasi for a short tea break, then we’ll drive on to Tekir for lunch and to the beautiful scenery of the Tekir Valley. We’ll drive on to Kahraman Maras to have world famous ice-cream, then onto Kahta or Adiyaman. Tea break, transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 ( Nemrut- Kahta)
Very early departure up to the ruins. The minibus will drop us off and we’ll climb on foot to the top to watch the beautiful sun rise between the colossal statues and heads of kings and Gods. After sunrise, you’ll have some time to walk around and take pictures. Then we’ll drive back to the hotel for breakfast. On the way back to Kahta, we’ll visit the ruins of Arsemia, the Roman bridge of Cendere and the Tumulus Tomb of Karakus.
From there, we'll help you find a bus to your next destination.
