WHAT'S A GULET ?
A GULET is a traditional Turkish wooden boat built in the style of those used by sponge divers in the area of Bodrum and Marmaris.
These boats can sail but mostly they use a motor. The crew consists of a captain, a cook and sometimes a deckhand.
The boats have from 6 to 10 private cabins with a double bed, toilet and shower, indoor and outdoor lounges, a fully equipped kitchen and the upper decks with a solarium with hammocks or mattresses.
BLUE CRUISE
Surrounded by four seas with more bays than can be counted, Turkey is a paradise for sailing.
The most famous route is the Blue Cruise or Blue Voyage, originally organized by a group of archaeologists and intellectuals in search of inaccesible bays and unknown ancient ruins.
Today it is a pleasant and easy way to explore the Turkish coast while enjoying the most beautiful bays for swimming and for resting and a great way to swim in the warm waters of the mediterranean and Aegean seas and enjoy the warm atmosphere of the Turkish coastal towns.
To join one of these cruises ranging from 2 to 8 days, you can either :
• rent a cabin onboard a standard gulet (no air conditioning) from 2 days to one week or on a deluxe gulet (with air conditioning for weekly cruises only)
or
• Rent a private gulet for your family or group with a crew. There’s a choice of standard, deluxe and VIP gulets.
