Want to discover Cappadocia in all its facets? This program combines private tours, hiking, horse riding, and a weekend in the magical city, Istanbul. Two worlds in one week.

Day 1: 03/09 - Istanbul
Arrival at Istanbul Ataturk Airport and transfer to your hotel in the old town.

Day 3: 05/09 - Cappadocia
Morning transfer to the airport and flight of Nevsehir. Transfer to your hotel
and beginning of your visit with a private guide and vehicle.
After a first stop in Uchisar, from where you can admire a fantastic panorama over the valleys, you’ll visit the underground city of Kaymakli. Then, following the Silk Road, visit the Soganli Valley, or Valley of Dolls, so named because the village manufacturing traditional cloth dolls. The valley contains rock monasteries and some beautiful churches with frescoes. We’ll return via Mustafapasha, a former Greek village known for its fine Ottoman and Greek architecture and the fairy chimney valley of Devrent.

Day 4: 06/09 - Cappadocia (Hiking tour in fairy chimneys valleys with picnic)
We'll start off at the foot of the rocky outcrop of Uchisar from where there's a great view over the entire region. Then we'll walk along a small path overhanging the Baglidere valley with some lovely views over some of the most beautiful rock formations of the area, through some of the most spectacular landscapes of the area in the valleys of Baglidere, Kiliçlar, Meskendir, Kizilçukur and Güllüdere until the village of Cavusin where we'll explore a cliff full of rock houses.
We'll climb slowly to the top of Bozdag so as to reach some of the small valleys around Zelve and will finish the day in the valley of Pasabag with the most amazing fairy chimneys with multiple "hats". One can really see how these formations happened over the year. Short minibus ride to get back to your pension.

Day 5: 07/09 – Cappadocia (private guide and vehicle.)
At dawn, a one hour balloon flight over the amazing landscapes of Cappadocia.
Visit of the famous Open Air Museum in Goreme, a monastic complex made up of churches with Byzantine frescoes. The next stop is Pasabag, known as the Valley of the Monks, where the fairy chimneys have multiple "hats". Next stop is the Valley Devrent with its lunar landscapes, then
Urgup and its old town. Finally we’ll visit Ortahisar, a village built around a rocky peak, off the beaten track. At the end of the day, we’ll spend some time with the traditional potters of Avanos.
Day 6: 08/09 - Cappadocia (Hiking tour in fairy chimneys valleys with picnic)
We'll drive through Gôreme and past the Gôreme museum to reach the plateau above the village. Then we’ll hike through the amazing landscapes of the valleys of Gemildere and the Pigeon valley to the rocky crop of Uçhisar (1000m) for a panoramic view of the area. 5-6 hours of walking.
Early in the evening, you’ll attend a ceremony of whirling dervishes in a thirteenth century caravanserai .
Day 7: 09/09 - Cappadocia (Full day horseback riding tour with a picnic)
We ride along the Red River to the troglodyte village of Sarihidir. We’ll climb up the mountains behind Avanos to the underground city of Ozkonak and for a panoramic view over all of Cappadocia. Back to Avanos.
Day 8: 10/09 - Istanbul
Transfer to the airport to Nevsehir for your return flight to Istanbul.
